The Mickey’s Patio opens at 6am for breakfast and the freshest green beer in town.  At noon the party moves to the street as Court Avenue closes for Iowa’s Biggest St. Patty’s Day Block Party.  The World’s Biggest Irish Flag is raised and Live Music and Live DJ’s all day and night.  

Local bands Pie In The Sky and Decoy always kick ass and will provide live music for you all afternoon!  Your favorite local Des Moines DJ will be rockin' sets between the bands!! THIS IS ONE BLOCK PARTY YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS!!! The Green Beer will continue into the night when DOLEWITE takes the stage.  Dolewite is Hip-Hop tribute band playing hits from the 80's, 90's, and 2000's. Dolewite brings the party. Come join the crowd and see for yourself. Bring your dancing shoes and your beer mugs!!
